  • IEEE Hot Interconnects 13, Stanford University, Palo Alto, California, USA, 17-19 August 2005
  • A business meeting of the Technical Committee on High-Speed Networking was held at Globecom 2004, Dallas, Texas - 1 December 2004
  • High-Speed Networks Symposium HSN Symposium 2004 held in conjunction with ICC 2004. The Technical Committee on High-Speed Networking (TCHSN) is co-sponsoring the High-Speed Networks Symposium (HSN) at ICC 2004, in Paris, France in June 2004.
  • The name change to "Technical Committee on High-Speed Networking" (TCHSN) was approved by the IEEE Communications Society in December 2003.
  • The revision of the TCGN name to TCHSN, as well as the revision of our charter to go beyond gigabit networking (because gigabits are commodity now) was discussed at the 30 March 2003 TCGN business meeting in San Francisco. The current proposal for the TC name is "Technical Committee on High-Speed Networking".
  • Workshop on High-Speed Networking HSN 2003 at INFOCOM 2003, San Francisco, California - 30 March 2003
  • High-Speed Networks Symposium HSN Symposium 2002 held in conjunction with Globecom 2002.
The Technical Committee on Gigabit Networking (TCGN) co-sponsored the High-Speed Networks Symposium (HSN) at Globecom 2002, which took place in Taipei, Taiwan, 17-21 November 2002. HSN received 120 submissions, out of which the HSN Technical Program Committee selected 38 papers for publication. The two papers that tied with with the highest average review scores also received the TCGN Best Paper Award. They were: "A Novel Highly-Scalable Matching Policy for Input-Queued Switches with Multiclass Traffic," by F. Chiussi, A. Francini, G. Galante, and E. Leonardi, and "Fast Collision Resolution (FCR) MAC Algorithm for Wireless Local Area Networks," by Y. Kwon, Y. Fang, and H. Latchman.
